From an apprenticeship in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Craig then joined the Royal Air Force in 1996 as a Photographer, ‘for a change’.
In 2006 whilst living in Burton upon Trent, Craig incorporated Marston Photography Limited to providing B2B clients with corporate, commercial and PR photography in the Midlands. Being aware of the different expectations of private clients, UK-wide wedding photography was provided under a different brand — Marston Weddings. Craig left the RAF in 2008 to run the business almost- full-time, whilst also looking after his son on alternate days when Mrs. Marston was at work as a BioMedical Scientist. This went swimmingly up until the recession..!
Craig is now a full-time dad, part-time geek*, and working towards a degree in Physics from The Open University.
